Creative skills developed through formal and informal training: Decorative finishes and painting techniques have been part of the portfolio since the 90's.. Training has been acquired from taking classed from various decorative artist around the country. Additional experience and study from accredited art schools and museum institutes have added to knowledge and skills of decorative arts, color theory, and techniques.
Jewelry design: Clay (PMC certified) and metalsmithing skills, jewelry design skills have been acquired through attending various workshops and training classes.
Encaustic Painting: As an artist, each painting is a creation developed from inspirations, it can begin with a word or feeling, it can be from natures colors, people or places visited, from sleepness nights, all of this results in a variety of styles. In the end, I hope to provide a visually pleasing experience to the viewer through their senses and interpretation.
Studio locations: In the early to mid 1990's the studio was located in The Sterling Millworks Building in Sterling MA. With a partner site in Londonderry, NH at the GreyGoose.
Current studio: "PS for you" and workshop is located at Kings Terminal, 110 K Street (formerly 17 Powerhouse St), South Boston, MA 02128. We have been here since 1996. The name has evolved over the years to it's current name: "PS for you" from "Partners in Painted Designs" and "Marblelous Gifts".
The studio is open by appointment only.
